Privacy and personal data policy.

Last updated: October 3, 2026

At AiCop Labs we respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, what we use it for, who we share it with and how you can exercise your rights, in accordance with Colombian Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1377 of 2013 (compiled in Decree 1074 of 2015) and other Colombian data protection rules.

1. Data controller

AiCop Labs, based in Cali, Colombia.

Email for personal data matters: soporte@aicoplabs.com. Phone and WhatsApp: +57 318 129 9834.

2. Data we collect

We only collect the data you voluntarily give us when you contact us:

  • Contact details: name, email, phone or WhatsApp, company and country.
  • Information about your project or request: what you tell us in the form, the assistant, email or WhatsApp.
  • Anonymous browsing data: pages visited, device type and approximate country, measured without cookies and without identifying you.

We don't ask for sensitive data or data from minors. This site is not directed at minors.

3. How we use your data

  • To respond to your request, understand your project and send you a proposal.
  • To communicate with you about the project or service you asked for.
  • To provide support for the projects we build for you.
  • To improve the website using anonymous usage statistics.
  • To comply with legal and contractual obligations.

We don't sell your data or use it to send you advertising you didn't ask for.

4. Who we share your data with

To operate, we use technology providers that may store or process data outside Colombia, with appropriate security measures:

  • Vercel Inc. (United States): website hosting and cookie-free visitor statistics.
  • Cloudflare Inc. (United States): receiving and forwarding the emails you send us.
  • Meta Platforms (WhatsApp): if you choose to message us on WhatsApp, your message is also governed by that service's policies.

By contacting us you accept this international transfer, which is necessary to handle your request. We will only share your data with authorities when required by law.

5. Your rights

As the owner of your data, you have the right to:

  • Know, update and correct your personal data.
  • Request proof of the authorization you gave us.
  • Know how we have used your data.
  • Revoke your authorization and ask us to delete your data, when there is no legal or contractual duty to keep it.
  • File complaints with Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC).
  • Access your personal data free of charge.

6. How to exercise your rights

Email us at soporte@aicoplabs.com with the subject "Personal data", including your name, your request and a way to reply to you.

We answer inquiries within 10 business days, extendable by 5 more, and claims within 15 business days, extendable by 8 more, as required by law. If you feel we didn't handle your request properly, you can contact the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce.

7. Cookies and browser storage

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

We measure visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which works without cookies and without data that identifies you.

While your tab is open, the site keeps your conversation with the AiCop Assistant and whether you've seen the welcome animation in your browser (sessionStorage). That information is not sent to our servers and is deleted when you close the tab.

If you choose a language, the site remembers that preference in your browser (localStorage) so it doesn't suggest another one again. It isn't sent to our servers either, and you can delete it by clearing the site's data in your browser.

If we ever use cookies that require your consent, we'll ask you first and update this policy.

8. Security and retention

We protect your data with reasonable technical and administrative measures, such as encrypted connections and restricted access.

We keep your data for as long as needed to handle your request, provide the service you hired and meet legal obligations. After that, we delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version will be published on this page with its update date. If the change is significant, we'll let you know through the contact details you gave us.

The English and Portuguese versions of this policy are translations; if there are differences, the Spanish version prevails.
